Ski or Snowboard rentals on the mountain are now $74 per day. Alpine Ski Shop is a 2 min drive from CB and rates for weekend days are $34.99 (Sunday) and $29.99 midweek. The savings become greater if you rent for multiple days.
When you reserve online ahead of time using the promo code ARI2025 (case sensitive), you get  $3 off per rental and 10% off any purchases in the gift shop
The downside of renting off-mountain is that if it doesn’t feel comfortable, you can’t go right back to the shop and exchange. To save your time and to prevent exchanges the day you ski, they let you come the night before from 7pm-9pm to pick up your equipment for the following day (when reserving online, use the following day as the rental date). This also helps you bypass the usually long rentals line on mountain.
