For those that want the biggest indoor waterpark on the east coast, I’ve arranged a great group rate at Kalahari Resort.

Group rate is for up to 6 people (6 waterpark wristbands) for a standard guest room and up to 8 people for a suite. King Suites are for up to 5 guests. 

Resort fee has been reduced (from $44.99 per night) to $19.99 per room, per night  

Complimentary Self Parking

Waterpark access on the full day you check in and till 3pm on the day of check out (3pm is rarely enforced, & is not enforced once inside the waterpark). Check in time begins at 4:00pm. However, come early to pre-register as early as 10AM. You can start using the Waterpark then. Check out at 11:00am

New HYBRID OPTION: Stay at Kalahari and buy discounted snow activities in Camelback, just 15 min away. These rates are available to the general public and active all year round. Full info here.

BOOKING DIRECTIONS (follow them step-by-step)

 

  • On the landing page, use the drop down menu to pick “Attendee”. The click “Make a Reservation”
  • Pick your check-in/check-out dates. “Guests per room” is how many adults are staying. Kids must be added later at the top of the Guest Information page when you get to it. 
  • Pick your room type. Add ons on the next page. Can be left blank. 
  • Pick any arrival time. Fill out info for the adults and don’t forget to add the kids or put in the max capacity. People are usually looking for extra wristbands. (for example: 2 adults and 4 kids for a standard or 2 adults and 6 kids for 2BR Suites)
  • BRING THE CREDIT CARD that you booked the reservation with to the hotel for an easier check-in process.  

Minyanim

The K’hal Ari Shul will be have minyanim and Chabad of the mountains will be bringing a torah. Check the minyan tab for minyan location and times. Please respond generously to Chabad’s appeal. We need to support their year-round work so they can be there for us during vacation times. (Recent responses to their appeals have, quite frankly, been pathetic.)

Kosher food

  • Still in the works. But there will be a nightly meat option, like Holy Schnitzel. Possible lunches too. Stay tuned on the kosher food tab. (Warning: they are strict about cooking in the rooms. Warmers like a Hot Logic are fine)

WARNING:

Cooking in the rooms or grilling in the parking lot in Kalahari is not allowed. If the smoke alert goes off (it’s sensitive) or if housekeeping smells it in the hallway, they charge you over $300 fee. 

Food is also not allowed in the waterpark. If you do bring in, be subtle about, don’t leave a mess. (🙄There were reports of people bringing in cooking machines into the waterpark)

WARNING

 The hotel has set aside a certain number of rooms and once they are sold, they will not continue to open rooms at the group rate. This is not a sales tactic. The early birds will get the worm.

Special note:

– Chillul hashem warning: please respect the posted parking rules. There were plenty of Odyssey’s and Sienna’s with Jewish camp magnets parked illegally last year. They asked that I tell you all to respect the rules.  

– I am working on arranging a beautiful shabbos option nearby. Stay tuned hee or on the PSA chat

– If you cancel more than 72 hours before arrival, there is a $30 fee. If you cancel less than 72 hours before arrival, you lose the entire deposit.
